The Feather AS-D2 & Feather AS-D2S are known as " The Worlds Best " Safety Razors.

The AS-D2S is the same Model Razor as the AS-D2 but comes with an Original Feather Stainless Steel Razor Stand ( Pictured ) packaged in a larger retail / presentation box.

NOTE : The Feather AS-D2 / AS-D2S are excellent Razors for those with light to medium facial hair growth, sensitive skin & every day Shavers but are not as efficient for removing extremely coarse Beards / Stubble or overgrown stubble even when using the sharpest DE Razor Blades ( Feather Replacement Blades ).

 

If you do own one and find it is too mild even when using Feather Replacement Blades and want to make it able to slice through your chin hairs more efficiently you can insert a " SHIM " under your regular Replacement Blade - get an old discarded or new blade, using a pair of scissors cut the edge off both sides - usually about 4-5mm each side of the blades cutting edges and place this in your Razor first, under your regular Replacement Blade - which will make the Blade Gap larger making the Razor more efficient / effective for coarser growth.

 

Stainless Steel Razors with care and regular cleaning can last a lifetime.
